The Ketubah - in Jewish tradition, a religious marriage certificate, has evolved to become a work of art - no longer simply a standard-format document in both English and Hebrew; void of embellishment. Today's engaged couples choose a Ketubah that reflects their personalities and preferences: such as a theme or a prayer; a topic, hobby or special event; their choice of colors, original artwork and often, very personal text.

The images on this page are samples of hand painted Ketubot created and produced in collaboration with couples. Some provided their own text - others chose from several conventional texts available, such as Traditional Reform, Conservative, etc. Beth consults with a Rabbi to proof all text.

Size options :12 x 12" square or 16 x 20" portrait or landscape. Please inquire regarding larger sizes/prices.

Finished Ketubah are unframed unless a framing price quote is requested, and delivered in an acid-free moisture-resistant portfolio.

All work is done on acid-free 300 pound watercolor paper(s) with colorfast inks, gouache and/or watercolors; and artist-signed.

An original Ketubah is also a beautiful way to honor a significant wedding anniversary ... a unique and very thoughtful gift.
